James Madison hated himself. He hated that his mother left him when he was 3, he hated that his father couldn't get a job, and he hated himself for thinking everything would be okay. Thomas Jefferson had everything. He had a home, he had parents, he had all the money he could need. These two boys seemed like they couldn't be more different- But what actually linked them together wasn't their lack of friends, or their social awkwardness, no. Thomas Jefferson hated himself, too. And in this way, they couldn't be more alike.

If people were to find out his secret. He'd do anything to shut them up... Anything. But, will feelings get to mixed trying to shut people up? Will James' affection ever come? Or will Thomas rot in jail?

"Do you not see them, Jefferson?" I ask, voice shivering with anxiety and fear. "They're everywhere: they tell me to do things; they terrify me, Jefferson. You may only be my therapist, but being a therapist doesn't stop you from being able to contact someone and prescribing me some sort of medication that will make me normal." "You are normal, James."

"Pardon me." I squeezed through the crowd. I had been trying to get to class for about ten minute now. Students crowded the hall, and I had no clue why, until about a few seconds later. I pushed past a few people into a clearing, to see a boy beating a smaller boy. No one even bothered to try and help him, they just watched. I decided to be the one to try to help.
