More wood is going to fall. On me. I don't have time or space to run or move out the way. It starts to fall and as soon as I put my hands over my head to shield myself, I feel it. Not the wood, but the electric shock. The one with no pain, pure energy. Only this time, it consumes me. All of me. My eyes are closed but I see purple. Ultraviolet purple. I feel like I put all the energy I've had in my life in this one moment. Then as soon as it came, it goes. When nothing happens, my hands still over my head, I find the courage to look up and around me. And what I see is not what I expect.

The characters, settings are all owned by Victoria Aveyard. I am a great fan of the Red Queen series, but after reading I still believe that Maven deserves something better that being a monster. I just can't shrug the feeling off that there's more to his side of the story. Aside from original scenes from the Glass Sword, I will be adding different story lines of my own.
