Istället för att uppleva den där sommardrömmen som Simon målat upp i sitt huvud känner han att han är på väg att förlora den som alltid betytt allra mest för honom. Samtidigt kämpar Alva med att få relationen att fungera, något som visar sig vara mycket svårare än vad hon räknat med. Kan den sista sommaren räddas med spontana utflykter, tivolin och sena kvällsbad? Eller har vuxenvärlden redan fångat in dem med sina vassa klor och slitit sönder allt som varit?
