He heard a slow but cruel answer to a question that was never asked. Luca thought so intensely about the question that his brain felt like it would stop from the pain that was increasing. Why did it seem that the one thing that he and his mother both desperately wished to have was always out of reach? The question was very simple, but for why it needed to be asked to had no answer to give. The question erupted out of him being asked to his mother. "Mom, why doesn't he stop?" She knelt down to him and said, "I don't know Luca. All I know is that we're going to leave soon so he can never ever hurt us again."
