After an attack on the contestants in Inanimate Insanity, Lightbulb and Marshmallow are lead off the game grounds in search of Paintbrush by a new object. Upon finding them in a secluded cabin, they start to uncover what really happened to lead up to the attacks.

For Marshmallow, figuring out life, death, reality, and the games we play is difficult. But navigating her relationship with Apple may as well be the most challenging thing she's ever done. (Luckily, Marshmallow is no stranger to challenges.) A Inanimate Insanity story where each chapter is a new lesson in love and life learned by Marshmallow while navigating her relationship with Apple during and after Inanimate Insanity II. This story contains the rewritten version of the most popular Marshple fanfic in existence, as well as the original! (Contains character deconstruction and a healthy helping of slow-burn Marshple, as well as eventual Lightbrush. It's canon-compliant up to "Hatching the Plan," but not with Season 3.)
