A boy who can't hear, should never be wanted in a world of music, and songs. Ethan Nestor is deaf, and has been since birth. He's used to be cast out due to his differential issue. Ethan has never known the feeling of friendship, but has acquired a few skills from being alone, watching the conversations of others his whole life. Ethan has learned to read lips. When his family decides to move to L.A, Ethan decides that he is going to finally make some friends, by not letting anyone find out his secret about his hearing disability. His plans were to be known as a mute, not a fuck up, but what happens when a boy in his class causes Ethan to do a double take, and even further, what will happen when the boy begins to ask questions?

Mark has noticed that Ethan is acting off as of lately. Ethan is trying his best to put on an act for the others. The truth is Ethan has depression. He doesn't want the others to find out about it because he thinks that they will kick him out or pity him and he doesn't want them to do that to him because he can't go back to his dad's place because he abuses him.
