Befriending Mandy, Ian gets all the help he can get to get the boy he wants. Mickey Milkovich has been held back for the second time since first grade. Not feeling the motivation to do his work, and now having the random interest in Ian Gallagher, has made the beginning of his second shot at freshman year a bit unsteady. Though, as his relationship with Ian grows, Ian and Mandy try to help Mickey pass the ninth grade. (May be an AU for some things may not match up with the show)
