13 year old Marissa was a fugitive, who was wanted by the police since the age of ten. Everyone believes she has something to do with the death of her parents, but only Marissa knows the truth- and she is afraid to share it with others. So, instead of sharing the true story with the police, she kept it to herself and ran from the crime scene before she was found by others. Since that day, she was taking the journey alone.

She knew she was starting to repeat past mistakes. What to do? Follow the heart and take the risk of let it be crush again, but enjoy the brief happiness that comes with it? Or the mind and avoid the pain, but turning into someone she wasn't, someone cold and un-empathetic? Take the chance of living with company or force herself to live a life of solitude, again?"
