My life is a mess. I'll be the first to admit that. I can't walk down the street without it taking twenty minutes and I'm constantly counting. Counting and finger touching, which is pressing my thumbs to the tips of each finger. It calms me. I count to twelve again and again and again. Did I mention my mom is overprotective, my dad doesn't care, and my life is falling apart? I'm a 15 year old who can't even get his food in the lunch line at school without having a break down. So yeah, that's my life. Who knows what will happen. Maybe you'll know all my secrets, or maybe you'll be lost in the wonders of my special brain. It depends on if I can trust you though. She likes to sing, she's really good at it too, and she also likes to swim. She is one of the best swimmers on her team. She loves going for late night drives and she likes designing. She goes to a new school, excited for new opportunities, sad because she has to leave everything behind. She meets new people, and makes a new best friend. Her name is Mia, but they meet in the school. Right after Addy meets Kyle for the first time. Aah yes. Kyle. Kyle Johnson. The biggest player in the whole school. He jumps between two different girls a week, at the least. He's a total jerk, and he has the biggest ego anyone has ever seen. He's a bad kid. Bad grades. Parties. Drugs. Alcohol. Although he has a tough skin, he doesn't necessarily have the best life at home. His step dad is an alcoholic. He also is very verbally, sometimes physically abusive, and under all that tough skin he does actually have a heart. One that he'll only let certain people see. Kyle thinks Addy will admire him like every other girl has, But she is tougher than he thought, and Addy isn't really a big fan of Kyle. She actually really hates him. Kyle knows that, and he will do anything and everything to piss her off. Throwing paper balls at her during class, to shoving her every time he sees her. But will seeing him every day change everything?
