The world has turned black, turned to shit, after two attacks by the Fireflies. About 5 years later they're still trying to find a cure to this cordyceps fungus, or a mushroom. There's infected nearly every where, everyones tired, just exhausted. Buildings fell down, there's nature everywhere, and not so much food to live on. It's sad, because just 5 years ago, Ashton Irwin was touring the world with his bandmembers,for they're fans, But they're goddamn sure that they didn't survive the shithole, sadly, and Michael and Calum wondered off somewhere on they're own, and Luke dissappeared right after the outbreak. But you can come along way with a shotgun and a rifle if you only chose to make your shot's count, can't you? But when Luke get's bitten, in queen Fireflies hand, will Luke become the cure for mankind?

Niall hates his neighbor, Zayn Malik. He's covered in tattoos, smokes more than anyone Niall knows, and spends all of his time at the local tattoo parlor called Urban Ink. They spend most of their time yelling at each other, until Niall gets dragged into Urban Ink through an unfortunate series of events that may change Niall's heart forever. Or, the one where Niall slowly falls for Zayn and Zayn has secretly loved Niall since the beginning, but it's not easy or smooth sailing at all.

He runs the school newspaper, likes video games, and has a secret crush on his English teacher, Mr. Payne. Paranoid, some people may call it. He swore there were monsters out to get him, and constantly lived his life in fear, never having the guts to tell anyone what was really happening to him. Until he meets Zayn. Zayn Malik has many frightening features himself. But will he be able to get Niall to loosen up, and for once in his life actually face the monsters who have made his life hell?

His face falters. He looks back at me awkwardly, and we stare at each other for a moment before he walks the few steps across the room to the window, reaches up and snaps the velvety curtains to the window shut.
