Lauren Jauregui is just an ordinary, typical high school girl. She gets good grades, has a good group of friends, and has a wonderful boyfriend of two years. Her life was pretty simple, until she comes back from winter break. When a school announcement was made that her English teacher will not be coming back for the next two semesters, Lauren didn't know her life would change. Then she meets the new English teacher, Mrs.Cabello.

Y/n and Lauren have been best friends since pre school. They started dating in the 7th grade and continued to fall madly in love. But when they were both 15 Y/n's family was murdered right in front of her. It was a month later when y/n was sent away to a mental hospital out of state for her depression and anxiety. Lauren had promised she would keep in touch and wait for her until she got out. Sadly that wasn't the case. Lauren never called, never wrote, never visited. Y/n had no other family she only had Lauren so when she never reached out to her she felt so alone and betrayed. Lauren had auditioned for X factor and began to live her dream leaving Y/n in the past. That is until Y/n gets let out after being discovered on YouTube and signed to SyCo.
