When Thea Meyers was only three years old, The Fall tore apart the place that was once called America. The government shut itself off from the world, leaving all of the citizens lost, confused, and afraid. The world became one where only the strongest survive. And those who are trying to help aren't always the heroes. When Thea is "adopted" from a girls' home and taken to a secret facility, she becomes part of a war, a pawn in a game against time to see who will reunite the world or destroy it. Science has found a way to change someone's DNA and transform them into any type of creature imaginable, but only the strongest can survive the procedure. If Thea dies, nothing would change. If she lives, she could save the world. »» Full disclosure, this story has not been updated in a very long time. Sorry.

~o0o~ Book 2 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book three: "No One is Happy with This") Ah. Hello there. You are here in search of a story? ... I could tell you a story of a family, reunited once more, living on the surface world. But such a story has not come to pass, nor do I know how such a story would come to pass. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you the story of how I came to be here, stuck in the black depths of nothingness. But, I have the distinct sense that this story has already been told, by hands not my own. So I will not tell that story. I could tell you a forgotten story. A story of a name long gone, a time erased eternities ago. ... Yes, this one, I think, is the story I will tell. For the name that was once my own, the name that has been lost to the Void, that is a name to remember. Dr. WD Gaster is a Name to Remember.

~o0o~ Book 3 of the "Better Times" trilogy ~o0o~ (Book one: "The Time Before") (Book two: "A Name to Remember") Two years after the Barrier was destroyed, it's a dark and stormy night. A group of friends; six monsters, one human, and one flower, celebrate the anniversary of the monsters' freedom. Everything starts off with a seemingly innocent question: "What does the thunder remind you of?" But the answer only leads to more questions. Questions born of curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat. And it's a hard learned lesson that Determination can't always bring everything back.

It had been ten months, nearly a year since the Battle of the Five Armies ended, nearly a year since she left Middle Earth. Talia Russo couldn't help but find life to be a little less colorful than it once was in her eyes, especially since she failed to leave her pain behind in Middle Earth. But what she doesn't know is that her dull circumstances are about to change. Talia is about to be faced with a past she thought she lost, along with yet another adventure, one more dangerous than she could ever imagine. Note: Story contains strong language. AN: I do not own "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of the Rings" or any of their contents. Also Published on Quotev © 2017 All Rights Reserved
