Kelsey Rogers lives and breathes ice hockey. She grew up with a father and brother who both played, and from them she gained a fierce passion for the sport. When her father’s company relocates him, Kelsey must leave her team behind, only to find out that there is no girls’ team where she now lives. Instead of giving up on the sport she loves, Kelsey fights her way onto the local boys’ travel team. However, the difficulty doesn’t stop there. Kelsey has to deal with boys telling her she plays a boys’ sport and that she isn’t as good because of being a girl. Kelsey isn’t one to back down from a challenge, so instead of quitting, she vows to prove that a girl can play ice hockey. Enter Dane Young. He’s the captain of Kelsey’s new team, and one of the major reasons she made it. Despite that, though, Dane is probably harder on her than the team’s coach. To Kelsey, it’s as if he wants to see her fail. Kelsey is determined not to let that happen.

Be kind enough to understand that this condition is normal for a book written by a teenager who wrote it at sixteen years of age. If you're not a certificated grammarian, don't dare to comment about the lack of healthy grammar and syntax this story has. It's obvious. I'm aware of it. Read at own risk. And I apologize for the long warning, but such things are quite entertaining to write. ]

Azura Sloan Thompson is the middle child out of five children. Her life seems to take it's first turn when she accepts the help of popular jock boy, Rendon Walters. But that is only the beginning. Then there are drama queens and new kids and that is just your average, everyday teen occurrences. One Halloween night, Sloan's mother sends her out to get more candy for the trick-or-treaters and she stumbles into a world that can't be explained. She runs into two goons who claim to feast on blood. And her problems have only just begun. Join Azura Sloan on this funny, paranormal, kooky adventure.
