Kinloch was a human child that was kidnapped and raised by f*cking faeries and has no idea what the f*ck he's doing, he just believes there are more people like him and he has to find them, to fit in, to belong. Team Burr is on the hunt. Everyone's got a motive, a reason, a backstory, and a secret. Or multiple. Corruption runs rampant right under their noses. John Laurens was a god of the stars and god of creation, small creation like animals. The Greeks and Romans living on Earth worshiped him and his godly brothers and sisters. It was a rare time when John would be able to sneak down to Earth to marvel at the mortal world. John was the youngest god and was always so curious about the mortals and how they lived but the other gods called him foolish. But little did he know that one day when he was down on Earth that a mortal had seen him...

In it, Laurens works the night shift at a coffee shop (who knows if a 24 hour coffee shop exists, but in fiction, anything is possible), that Hamilton decides to go to when after he gets struck with writer's block.
