Juliet Cassidy is being held captive on an Alien Planet. She outwits the creatures who are keeping her there, resulting in the Enterprise getting her call. Kirk, Spock and a few others go down and help her escape. Juliet is helped recover and once she is better she asks if she can work on board. Spock is still unsure about trusting her. Kirk gives her a chance to prove herself.
