Kaydence is entering her freshman year of college at Clark Atlanta University. Dealing with her parents pending divorce, there is a lot of tension at home. On top of that, Kaydence is also dealing with her drug dealing boyfriend, Rich, who doesn't seem to be too interested in what's going on in her life. Going away for school seems to be the answer to her problems as far as getting away from home, but she runs into some other issues along the way. (BOOK 1)
