In a world where the intellectual choose to live a life of unextraordinary happenings, the members of the new world search and scour for them; to add to their collection of excellence; to lead the next. The Freemasons, an extraordinary organization filled with secrets, are in search of an ordinary man, Anthony Fernard. His intellectual yet broken mind has reached their ears, and they want him. But he doesn't; he's the only Fernard left, but he doesn't want to take part in rituals or meetings. So they make a deal-- and what a deal it is-- that sends not only his mind through trials and hardships but also through the ages where he has to not only survive and adapt; he has to save his lineage. But is he ready for what's to come, or will he crumble under the grotesque discovery?

Everyone knows they're just ordinary people living ordinary lives. For Dominic, however, that was not the case. He always believed he was a special snowflake even though he was just as ordinary as his friends. That was about to change. When he meets a girl he feels different about, he learns that she is no ordinary female. Little did he know that she was about to lead him to an extraordinary life, a life of magic, a life of unbearable pain, a life full of emotion ; a life that used to be just an unwonted thought. In the end, will he accept the fact that his life is different? Or will he escape his life like the rest of the unwonted who have suppressed their abilities for the sake of fitting in?
