There was no doubting it: Toby was the human version of a headache, especially when it came to Masky; the man never got a break from the teen's ramblings and 'jokes'. But Toby had his reasons. Of course, they were stuffed into the back of his mind with other things he either didn't want to remember, or just simply couldn't. They were pushed back with not only those, but they were pushed back with things that no one could ever know. Not even Masky, Slender's right hand man and the reason for many late nights for Toby, could know about it. It would change everything. He never needed to know... Masky's first impression was that he was just a stupid kid; A stupid, irresponsible kid who didn't know what the hell he was doing more than half of the time. Or at least, that's what he tried to tell himself. Toby's first impression of him was that he was just a stuck up adult who thought he knew the exact way the universe worked. Of course, neither of them would ever say that, for Masky knew that it wasn't wise to be rude to someone he'd just met and Toby knew that talking back to a superior would mean that there would be hell to pay. But, they also didn't know that after a series of unseen events, they'd grow closer than they, or anyone else, ever could've imagined.

Everyone is born with animal traits. Whether you're born with ears and a tail, or claws and fangs, everyone is born with something. The most common is to have some relation to a cat or wolf (ears and tails) and the rarest [and most dangerous] is to be born with wings. Lance is one of the few unlucky souls born with wings. He must deal with all the struggles of being a rare and valued trinket and learn how to become a Paladin.
