The Beast was heard but never seen. Behind closed doors it made a scene. It's yowling intensity wailed through the night... no one stirred, lights stayed off as if nothing happened. The next day nothing changed, nothing ruined, but the wailing echoes.

Wealth, power, fame, we're all after something. Whatever you're after, you do anything to get. And when we don't get it, we either close ourselves off, or do anything to attain what we desire. Some people will even sacrifice their own children. As in my case. My father, Zero, was the creator of everything. And he was after control. My brother and I thought his ways were tainted, he left them to suffer after they would fail. We rose up against him, and won, but at a cost to us all. My brother and I lost most of our power, with him also losing the ability to speak. Our father also lost his part of his power, but also his sanity. We escaped, and now it's our job to hunt down the horrors that plague the universes, while our power slowly returns.
