The hokage never allowed Naruto to actually run around free, but simply let it appear that way. There were too many of his dark twisted things going on in the village to allow a simple pawn to have any real freedom. Even his teammates, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, were planted anbu agents assigned to watch him, but why ... and who's really watching who?

Naruto can feel it, Konoha is dead and rotting. The only trustworthy people were killed or forced to leave, but not before giving him the tools he needs to survive in this corrupted village. He and the few friends he has will need to learn and grow so they can bring back the village that once was. If, that is, they can get passed the obstacles in their way ...

Naruto was an ugly-duckling back when he was 16 years old. Being a nerd, and a bit on the over-weight side he got bullied relentlessly. With Sasuke, Sakura, Neji, and a few others being his bullies. Having enough with it, he moved, now back two years later, he's running his father's company, in two big league industries, and looking good while he's at it. What if the Naruto you knew, wasn't the actual Naruto. What if Naruto wore a mask, an actual mask, a genjutsu. In this story, Naruto suffers from Albinism. Albinism is a disorder when the person with it can't produce melanin, the stuff that gives you your eye color, hair color, and skin color. In the shinobi world, there has never been a case of albinism, so there is no cure, not that there was one anyways. He was viewed as a freak, mutant, monster, idiot, and demon. They did not know he was a child prodigy, however. He's not the blonde idiot everybody knows, he's the masked albino ANBU, kitsune, that everybody fears. (His family neglects him,they all think he's the weakest out of all of them. He is the youngest of the other two children, Menma, and Naruko. He was a lot smaller than them, so nobody would realize that he was the child of a prophecy.) I do not own Naruto, or the pictures. They belong to their respective owners. Naruto had managed to keep the promise made to Sakura: the great Uchiha Sasuke has been brought back to the village. Naruto was then accused of being a traitor by Sasuke, when the boy did not like what the blond had said. Naruto was tortured to the brink of death and thrown out of the hidden leaf village with a threat that if he ever dared to enter the fire country, he will be executed. The boy with a broken body and a broken mind had wanted to die but was found. Who found him and what did he do? Why is the blond they know from before the banishment 3 years ago a female now? A new nation will rise to the top and many will try to fight but who will win?

Sasuke broke the heart of a fragile little boy when they were younger. When Sasuke realised his mistake, he had already lost the sunshine, the sunshine had disappeared without a trace. A few years later, a familiar blond appeared at his school. Will Sasuke be able to win back the heart of our blond or will his brother, Itachi who had his eyes on him for a long time, win the blond's first?
