Varsha Sharma had always believed life unfolded in a straight line-one step after another, one dream leading gently into the next. She had love waiting for her, wedding rituals filling her days, a brother and sister-in-law who were her world, and two little souls who filled the house with laughter. Everything was set. Everything was certain. Until the night everything changed. In a single, cruel moment, her perfect life shattered, leaving her with two infants who clung to her heartbeat and a world that no longer made sense. Her marriage collapsed, her home fell silent, and every path she once dreamed of closed at once. But grief has a strange way of rearranging destinies. Pulled together by loss and bound by responsibility, Varsha and Ashwin Raina-strangers in every sense but devotion-find their lives stitched into the same story. He, the quiet, work-driven brother who lost a sister too soon. She, the bruised yet unbreakable girl who became a mother overnight. Together, they step into a marriage neither planned, building a family from the ruins of heartbreak, discovering strength in places they never looked, and learning that sometimes love doesn't arrive as a choice... but as a promise you make to those who can't make one for themselves. Sometimes love doesn't arrive as a fairy tale- sometimes it grows quietly in the spaces grief leaves behind.

Evelyn Hart believed in fairytales - until the day she was left at the altar. Once a bright, hopeful law student, Evelyn's world crumbled when Nathaniel Blackwell - a powerful business heir she was arranged to marry - walked out on their wedding without a word. The scandal destroyed her family's name, shattered her dreams, and left her to bear the brunt of public humiliation. In a society that blamed her for everything, Evelyn did the only thing she could: she rose from the ashes. Years later, she's one of the most feared and respected lawyers in the country - until one case breaks her resolve and she disappears from the courtroom without warning. But fate has a cruel sense of irony. When Nathaniel's own sister is devastated by a similar betrayal and takes her life, he is desperate for justice. No lawyer is willing to fight for a case everyone believes is already lost - except for the one woman he wronged the most. Evelyn. Silent. Unforgiving. Brilliant. As she reluctantly steps back into the courtroom, the past simmers between them. Nathaniel is haunted by guilt and drawn to the woman he abandoned. Evelyn speaks only when required, avoids the past, and focuses on justice - but her silence screams louder than words. What begins as a legal battle turns into an emotional reckoning. Regret. Redemption. And a slow-burn connection that neither of them expected. Because sometimes, the most powerful verdicts aren't spoken in court - they're written in the heart.

Gorgeous cover by @DNB2k16 There comes a time when you get used to the pain. You don't feel hurt nor surprised anymore. You just stop caring altogether. I don't know what other's think of it, but to me it's convenient. It's good that I don't act weak anymore and bawl my eyes out at every twitch. I feel content because I can make the people who hurt me pay back for it with interests. I used to be innocent and forgiving but now, my eyes have opened. I have experienced it several times that some people do not deserve mercy, but I chose to look the other side. However, as they say, there comes a time, a person in your life who changes everything. You love them. You adore them. You act your best to please them and on the dark side, you can't forgive the ones who put even a scratch on them. That person came in my life too, but this time, I couldn't look the other side and forgive and forget those who took him away from me. My only strength. My only warmth. My only person. I may be obsessed, but I don't care. For me that person has always been more than a soul mate and a beloved. He is my LIFE. And what do you when your life is endangered? You do not sit still. You strive to survive and if instincts call for it, then you attack! I learned my lesson. I'm not going to simply let it go. I'm not going to be merciful. I'm not going to value stupid sacred bonds of my race. I'm not going to think about my mission. I'm only going to do what I'm supposed to do to get him back. I'm not going to hold back anymore and if the situation arises then I'll go against anyone even if he is the King of Werewolves. I will use anyone if it means I can get one step close to him. I don't mind shedding blood anymore because I can overcome any fear, but not the fear of losing him. I won't let any bond hold me back anymore. The only bond I care about is with him. The one I chose for myself. The bond of pure love and hope. "The day will come soon when we'll reunite again. I promise."
