A month has passed since the death of Han Solo. A month since Star Killer Base was destroyed. A month since Finn nearly died battling Kylo Ren. A month since I found Luke Skywalker, and he agreed to train me. The month has not been kind, with the Republic gone, the First Order has risen while the Resistance has been diminished to staggeringly small number. And all this time i have tried to ignore the flood of grief for the father that I never had, and now never will have. This story is dedicated to jjs797 because without her I never would have started this book.

Rey always saw something in Kylo Ren. A glimmer of the person he once was. She saw an equal on the opposite side so close, yet so incredibly far away. She knew what needed to be done. She needed to turn him but she didn't know that process would mean she fell in love with Ben Solo.

I follow her into the room and we sit on the bed. Rey turns to me and opens her mouth about to say something, but stops. Before I know what I was doing, I smashed my lips against her's. Rey's hesitant at first, but then deepens the kiss. Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! It does not include ANY of TLJ or TROS canon, please be aware of this as you read. Also I wrote this like 3 or 4 years ago, excuse my grammar mistakes. Yes, I know they're there. So basically this is me hurdling myself down the trash compactor and writing Star Wars: The Force Awakens oneshots/ short stories/ au's with all of my favorite ships.
