(Currently Editing) Poland, 1942. When Celina Rudaski took the evening train to Warsaw, she did not expect to return responsible for the lives of two Jews. Then again, she did not expect her father to be whisked away in the middle of the night by soldiers, nor did she expect her house to become swallowed by flames of fiery hatred. Yet it all happened in the matter of twenty-four hours. A stubborn, introverted fifteen year old girl, Celina refuses to believe the many stories of the horrific genocide against the Jews, often turning a blind eye to anything that reminds her of the war. But when she unwittingly promises to hide two Jews in a home she does not have, Celina must journey across Europe with these strangers in search of lady who might be able to rescue them. They are filthy, they are broken, and Celina cannot seem to control the hatred burning inside her. Together they travel town to town, witnessing each cities own branch of horrors, even hiding in basements of strangers. In ways painfully unimaginable to Celina, these two Jews affect her life in the deepest of ways. As they dodge bullets, stumble upon an injured enemy pilot, and attempt to escape the hands of the Germans naming them fugitives, Celina must learn to face what she has been too terrified of her entire life. ***Edited by the lovely @jgfairytales

Peter Erwin Rolf, soldier 446, is a Nazi. Bred with the sole purpose of killing, Peter is not happy with his fate. When the life of a young, mature girl named Alice placed in his hands, the young soldier is faced with a decision. "I'm a murderer." "You don't had to be." With one wrong step, Peter is sent hurdling in a completely different direction as he relives his life in flashbacks, realising how wrong he had been the whole time. Join Peter in his adventure in the 1900s and see just where fate takes you. //DISCLAIMER// Though I tried to educate myself as much as I could with the limit resources I had about this topic, there is probably some inaccuracies. Also, the words in this story are in, how I perceive, the point of view of a soldier serving for Hitler. I do not share the same ideas. Currently, I'm going back and editing the current chapters, as well as working on new chapters. Thank you for checking my story out!

Set in Lille, France, in the years leading up to the second world war, Of Silence tells the story of a boy, Charles, and six other people - a baker, a teacher, a tailor, a hostage, an actress, and a soldier. The plot follows Charles from the day he's found on the streets of Lille as a young boy, as he grows and learns to love, and finally, as he's caught in a series of tragic events that shatter into dire consequences. Filled with prose, growth, and a little bit of romance, Of Silence is a compelling read that draws the reader in and doesn't let them go until it's all over. highest rank: #1 in historical fiction || wattpad featured 250516 || yourstoryindia finalist || cc2k15 honorable mention

Winter, 1917. Dorothy never really thought that war would take her older brother, but like so many others before him, Ian enlisted and departed Canada in khaki, leaving Dorothy to care for the youngest Gaston, Charlie. The return of her employer's son eats away at Dorothy: why should he, the rich man's son, the spoiled brat, be back home sleeping in his bed while her brother sleeps in the muck somewhere in France or Belgium? Robbie Monroe isn't the brat who ran off for a great adventure. Nearly deaf in one ear and deeply lonely, he is a man struggling to put his life back together after his time "over there," and Dorothy seems to be the only one he can talk to. She doesn't want to trust him but she can't help it, and Dorothy soon finds herself with something she didn't realize she desperately needed: a friend. Before the war's end, fate has one final reminder for Dorothy that happy endings don't always happen in real life, no matter how much she tells herself they can. Set in in the weeks before the 1917 Halifax Explosion, Shadows May Fall is a non-traditional World War I romance.
