------ "It's either the kiss or the revolution" Paris, France, spring of 1832 Victorie is like a friendly shadow at Café Musain. A girl who always welcomes the guests with a warm smile never thinks twice before helping Madame Hucheloup and brings snacks for the always hungry boys, hidden in the back room. To them, she's only a girl who works at the Café, a girl who is always there to linger around and listen to their meetings, criticize their opinions and to make sure they go home before three in the morning. Enjolras has always been annoyed by her presence, but never denied her entrance to the back room, partially because feared angering the boys and Madame Hucheloup who all seemed to adore this simple girl, but also because he always found himself unable to utter a reasonable sounding world in a conversation with her. With the impending revolution, the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC has no time to think about the irrelevant girl. Courfeyrac, their best friend. The centre of the group. He's always there to support his friends, to tell a joke or two and to mend everyone's problems. Can it be that he is not all he seems to be? What happens when the glue that holds everything together begins to break? Could the group survive without its joining factor? The choices to make are not going to be easy... One is known... Everything will change when the boys find out that Victorie is keeping secrets... ---- #1 in #Courfeyrac 28/03/2019. and 10/05/2019 / 28/12/2021 #1 in #lesmiserables 20/11/2018 and 3/1/2023 #2 in #enjolras 3/4/2021 Disclaimer: I do not own Les Misérables! In the autumn of 1831, Cosette and Sybill Fauchelevent arrive with their father to a quiet house in the quiet French town of Saint-Michele. Both of the girls experienced traumatic events in their childhood years that shaped their attitudes towards the future yet the personalities of the adoptive siblings are oh so different. Everything changes when they are quite literally dragged to the Café Musain where they meet a group of young men who are determined to change the world. The girls capture the attention of a few certain individuals resulting in a few friendships...and more. However, problems arise when Sybill and the leader get into many heated debates about the progress of the nation. To assuage her anger, Sybill begins to write in secret a series of essays pamphlets about the revolution under a male's name which her father publishes for her in secret at the printing press. The pamphlets become the talk of small town especially around the revolutionaries much to her surprise. How do the girls react to the boys' plans? Will they have to flee to England with their father as was the original plan? Will the revolution succeed? How does Sybill fare with writing and arguing with the stubborn leader? Will they ever discover that a female is the one behind the heated essays about the overthrow of monarchy? And why is the leader someone who seems so familiar to the girl? || Based off of my original fic Les Misérables Revolution yet clearly a lot changed so that the characters and plot can be stronger than before ||

Juliette Pontmercy and her older brother, Marius, have always been close - they had no secrets...or at least that's what she thought. When he suddenly becomes distant, she becomes suspicious. She worries about the secret meetings he's been attending, and the new circle of friends that he's been spending every day with, and spends nights lying awake, wondering where exactly he is and imagining what she might say to his new friends should she ever be given the chance to give them a piece of her mind. But when she follows her brother one day out of curiosity, she stumbles upon something revolutionary - something that will change her way of thinking and set her life on a brand new path. And Enjolras, the leader of this change, is going to change her life. Based upon Les Miserables by Victor Hugo - all characters belong to him. Character of Juliette is my own and belongs to me.

Ari Callahan has no idea how to talk to boys -- or how to talk to anyone for that matter. Enter Zac, the cute new guy in town who won't stop texting her. But is his interest real, or does he have a hidden agenda? ***** Found as a young child washed up on the beach, 17-year-old Ari Callahan has never uttered a word out loud to anyone -- not even her adoptive family. Psychologists have diagnosed her with a condition called selective mutism, but Ari can't help identifying with her namesake character, Ariel, the little mermaid in the fairytale whose voice was stolen by a sea witch. Mermaid-obsession aside, Ari's silence makes socializing tough. She's never had a boyfriend or been asked out on a date. Not until Zac, the confident new arrival in town, asks for her number. But Zac has his own reasons for texting with Ari. He's part of a movement to sabotage the artificial music app called SirenSong, threatening to render human singing obsolete. Zac's collaborators have scoured the globe in search of a singing voice perfect enough to break the SirenSong spell, and their search has led them straight to Ari's beachside town. Will her relationship with Zac help Ari find her voice and unlock the secrets of her origins? Or will he use her and leave her high and dry? Title: Ari and Zac (formerly The Mermaid Hypothesis) Content Warning: This story contains references to selective mutism, suicidal thoughts, and early childhood trauma.

Hermione Granger has brains, as everyone knows, so it's not very odd that she would be tutoring a few Hogwarts students who perhaps lack in their studies. But what happens when the student she is tutoring is no other than Draco Malfoy? Why is Dumbledore so keen on Hermione tutoring Draco even though it's against his will? And why is Draco feeling a little warmer towards Hermione despite his usual cocky, arrogant, and sarcastic comments? Well, all the answers are in this story of course!

The Marauders are starting their fifth year at Hogwarts; Remus is starting with a massive scar across his face - a byproduct of the increasing severity of his furry little problem, which is a definite cause for concern despite his insistence that it it's fine. Sirius is starting with the memories of a certain morning at 12 Grimmauld Place in August: memories that he might not ever forget, yet is desperate to cloak underneath the facade that every is fine at home and that he and his parents just sometimes encounter minor disagreements. James is starting his fifth year, yes, but more importantly, he is starting phase five of his plan to woo Lily Evans: somehow his friends seem doubtful that he might succeed, but James, being James, is in no lack of confidence. And Peter, well, Peter is starting to wonder just why he puts up with these people, and if he should really be feeling sorry for Lily Evans, and maybe if he should have asked to have been sorted into Hufflepuff.
