In a town where the high school football team rules the school, Amelia is just another face in the crowd. Sure, her dad is the football coach but Amelia's idea of "Friday night lights" revolves around studying until lights are out. Trying to impress her father who only knows football and her mother's high expectations, Amelia puts her head down and tries her best to satisfy them. After accidentally ending up at a party one night (without her mother's permission of course), Amelia finds herself thrown into the world of the infuriatingly gorgeous yet arrogant Zack Darrington. Zack was never part of a crowd. He's king of the city: the best running back in the state- if not the entire country. Flirtatious, cocky, and a skilled player in all senses, Amelia is not the type of girl he typically surrounds himself with. Everyone knows Zack Darrington. No one knows Amelia Hayes. Football is his world while she wishes it wasn't a part of hers. At first glance, these two couldn't be more different but deep down, they may be more similar than they think. Have you ever had a crush on somebody you knew you never had a chance with? It sucks right, try crushing on the same boy since the 8th grade. When seventeen-year-old Aniya is beginning to give up on her silly crush, fate brings them together in the same house after a freak accident. Aniya has been through a lot but this was the most unexpected. Victor Simon is your typical student. He gets good grades, respectful to his teachers, and does well in school. He wasn't interested in wasting his time with many friends or girls. His agitation then grows when he finds that the girl he rejected two years ago comes to live with his family. Little did he know how much his life would change in that exact time frame. - "I hate you," I gritted my teeth, a tear daring to slip out. I stepped backwards tying to get away but my back collided against the door. He took another step trapping me in between his arms. My heart thudded loudly in my chest as he brought his face closer to mine with a proud smirk playing out on his lips. The room was dark but I could still see the outline of his face, his eyes, his lips. Fuck. His alluring cologne graced my senses, but clouded my brain as he inched closer to me. "You sure about that?" He raised an eyebrow, amusement evident in his tone. ----- #1 - interracial - 1/27/22 #1 - hot - 2/26/23 #1 - drama - 6/2/22 #1 - cold - 3/3/23 #2 - teenromance - 5/21/22 #2 - tutor - 2/21/22 ----- This book is inspired by the manga series Itazura Na Kiss. ~"You don't know me." I snap. "Sure, I don't. We've only spent more than half of our lives together. But I don't know you. Like at all, I don't." He says sarcastically, making me stand up from my chair and stand in front of him with crossed arms. He keeps seated on my bed, looking just as angry as myself. I study his face for a really short second and internally groan. Puberty did really hit him good. ~ · Why would Hades think that after two years of not seeing Emma and not answering her calls, she would still be the same? How could he expect her to still be that weak little girl that depended on him? No, Emma has changed into somebody he has yet to discover. Two years ago, these two had their biggest fight. Best friends should get over it and move on, right? But what if there was no way they could talk it out, due to an unpleasant misunderstanding? Two years of not hearing shit from each other. Two years of being separated...and that after a bad argument. Both too stubborn to talk about it. But wouldn't it be so easy to finally sit down and talk? Even after what they did at Julie's first party of the new school year? I mean, they could still act like it didn't happen, since they have both been drunk. Yet they remember and decide it would be best to just avoid each other. Well, they seem to do a really bad job.

"I was so surprised when I saw her red hair that day. I didn't have anybody with red hair in my family. So I figured she got that feature from him. And I found out years later when he needed me to pick up his mother from the airport. Her hair was red like fire, too beautiful to be fake. Just like my little Emma's."

Lilah James has never had any troubles with getting into a club, even though she was not 'of age' yet. Still, no bodyguard ever demanded to see her ID. That all seemed to change when a handsome, tall and not to forget tattooed-to-his-neck bodyguard came in the game. Before she knew it, he had denied her entrance to the city's local club. She was beyond embarrassed, but over all angry at him. He was just doing his job, she knew. Yet she couldn't shake off the feeling that there was more behind it. Especially after seeing him let teenagers in. He didn't ask for their ID's, but Lilah could swear they looked like ten! She's never met him before and really wasn't planning on getting to know that handsome, ink covered devil. But after she discovered what he did when he wasn't guarding the club, she knew she would never hear the end of it. Especially because of her brother's interest in fights and his unmistakable admiration for one specific fighter: Prince Charmink. »»» "Jason." I hissed at my brother. "What?" He asked absentmindedly. "That's him." I whispered, eyeing the three men in the cage. Prince Charming stood tall and proud with a knowing smirk on his face. "Yes, I know. He's my favourite too." He informed me and I scoffed. "No, you dumbass. He's the bodyguard I was talking about." I snapped at Jason and his eyes widened. "You mean he was the one who didn't let you in?" He almost stuttered. "Yes." I nodded and looked back at the man who hadn't left my mind in a week. I could feel my anger rising again as I glared at his smug facial expression. As if sensing my eyes on him, his confident look faltered and it got replaced by a surprised one as his eyes settled on me. My eyes widened and I looked away. Jason's breath hitched. "He's glaring at you." He whispered and then he gulped. "Now he's glaring at me."

"You're just too much fun to mess with," he jokes, his smile transforming into a glowing smirk. My cheeks heat, but this time with anger. My tolerance has worn completely thin. "Would you let me go?" I ask spitefully. I feel like a broken record. He pushes off of the desk and takes a step back. Before I even realize what I'm doing, I slap him square across the cheek. Shock is plastered on his face, and I'm sure it is on mine too. I stand there in awe of what I just did. It was so sudden I'm not even sure I decided to do it but rather my indignation controlling me. Steadily, Damon's face morphs from shocked to entertained. I immediately regret my action, but I'm not completely stupid; I race for the door like there's no tomorrow. "You'll regret that!" I hear Damon yell as I'm running away. ~Sugar, spice, and everything nice~ A story about drama, sarcasm, love, and twists, with a little bad boy guilty pleasure mixed in between.
