Days of Darkness; that's what it means. While I don't personally believe it to be too relevant, 'you' won't know until you start reading, will you? You might prove me wrong... The point is, I've forgotten. I've forgotten everything; and yet the memories are right there. I could look at them - I could understand everything - whenever I wanted. But then again, they're not exactly mine, are they? The child had left this husk of a thing to me, whether willingly or not, and I will make use of it however it is that I see fit. . . . ...I just want to see my sister again.

[Welcome, host. My name is 233Lord-gs] But isn't that name too familiar? ----- Death, as I see it, is merely a means to someone else's end. Death marks progress. However, it had never once occurred to me that my take on the subject would become quite literal. Almost. Death marked my end, but it also marked my beginning... And still it continues to mark my progress in this unfamiliar world.

*Currently being heavily edited and changed* Warning: this contains Pan-Dimensional Paradox Worms, pissed off hipster demons, sentient, omniscient Rhubarb plants from distant galaxies and expired hot pockets. Michael Hoy is your average guy. Actually, he's quite below average. Some might call him a loser, a schmuck with no motivation. He lives in the town of Winthrop Locke, part of a city known only as Paradise, and up until now his life has been dull and monotonous. But one day he learns the truth about where he lives, meets two very strange men who claim they're aliens, and is enlisted to save the Earth from peril and doom caused by a legendary monster of epic proportions. The fight against the Worm is on, and after his first encounter with the unknown, his life will never be the same.

Hello, I am Anna Lean. I'm 15 and I'm blind. I know how to see things with me scent and touch. Before I went blind at the age of 6, I had blonde hair and bright blue eyes. I've heard of a man named Slenderman. He's said to have no face. He is about 10 feet tall, am I right? He is said to where a black suit and tie... I don't really keep track of this though. My parents had died of a mysterious death so now I'm in the orphanage. My eyes were closed as usual from being blind and not needing my eyes really, I felt a presence. "Who is there?" I said in my elegant voice. It sounded a lot like silk, and sounded shy. "Don't worry, Anna... It's just me..." my friend Ashley spoke. Her parents had gotten into a car crash when she was 5, so she was in the orphanage for 5 more years than I have. Yes, I came here when I was 10. Although I had lost my parents at such a young age, they taught me manners and how to talk politely. "Hello Ashley... Have you come to teach me how to sew silk? Perhaps wool?" I asked, looking in the direction of her voice. "No... I need to tell you something..." she said, a hint of fear in her voice. She was the brave type, so I knew something was horribly wrong. She sat next to me and sighed. "There are... people on the loose..." she said, as calmly as possible. "How is this terrifying news, Ashley?" I asked, curiously. Why was she telling me about people? They're only people, right? "Anna... you simply don't understand. They will hurt you. They do not give you any sympathy. They make sure you go to the light easy or hard way. They are blood thirsty..." she gulped. "Murderers..." a sensed a tear shed from her eyes.

I think that, maybe, once I graduated, I might have wanted to be some kind of professor or a teacher of some kind - a master of something specific: respected. Falling into a hole, however, was not how I had planned to go about it... And, in the middle of all this nonsense, what other bad luck to befall me but the fate of being a guy? So, if I may ask, where in this new world did my dignity go?
