Unti-unti rin ay nahuhulog na ang loob niya rito. She was getting there-to falling hopelessly in love with him. Pero may excess baggage si Enzo-he had a six-year old daughter. At hindi iyon nagustuhan ng kanyang konserbatibong angkan sa probinsya lalo na ang kanyang ina. Sa ganitong sitwasyon, sino ba ang dapat na mas matimbang sa kanya? Ang pamilya o ang lalaking nagpapasaya sa kanya? She couldn't, honestly, answer that question. Will there be a future for her and her Cute Jollibee Guy? Him scanning and studying her face as if searching for the truth with what she said. "Good," Tres then finally said, not even smiling as if he felt disappointed with her answer. "Kung gano'n ikaw na ang gumawa, Jacob. Make Miranda your girl in three months. At kapag hindi mo nakayang gawin, si Alfred ang gagawa." Jacob smirked. "Hindi ako katulad n'yo." "I'd be more than willing. She's pretty," sabi ni Alfred. Nagsukatan sila ng tingin ni Alfred. Alam niyang hindi nagbibiro si Alfred. He had to protect Miranda.
