You could even read them backwards if you so chose, though it might give some plot away to do it that way. "Are you... lost?" Someone asked, her tone impatient. I stopped scanning the room to find the woman behind the voice. I blinked. She had the most luminous blue eyes I had ever seen. Even in the dim glow of the bar they glowed brightly, like her pupils were some type of smooth stone at the bottom of a clear blue ocean. Within her blue there flickered tiny speckles of silver, which gave her an icy, somewhat stony appeal. But it was her slight, lopsided smile that erased any signs of wanting to be alone. No wonder this bar was so popular. "Uh, no," I said, holding up the Help Wanted sign I had snagged from the front window. The woman's cool eyes flickered between the sign and me. She didn't say anything, only looked slightly thoughtful as slender fingers raked through her long blonde hair. "What can you do?" She finally asked, definitely not expecting me to be able to do much of anything at all. She'd be right. "Anything and everything," I answered-lied-instantly, hoping I didn't look too desperate, didn't sound too eager. To be perfectly honest, I hadn't worked a day in my life. My hands were used to weekly manicures not hard labor. But desperate times call for desperate measures. The blonde appeared thoughtful again. Those magnificent eyes gave me a once over, slow and steady. You could see the cogs turning in her head as she considered it. I decided to try and sound more convincing. "I have many skills," I added. Okay, so I stole that from Xena, but I was hoping it worked as well for me as it did for her. The blonde lifted a sculpted brow and the smile was, once again, back on her lips. She seemed amused. Maybe she was a Xena fan? "Alright... I'll start you off cleaning the bathrooms, sweeping the floors, doing the dishes..." Crap.

Bat ganon? Bakit kung nasaan ako, nakikita ko rin yung babaeng yon? Sinusundan ba nya ko o sadyang nagkakataon lang na kung nasan ako, nandun din sya, ano yun coindesent? (shunga Maybelle, coincidence!) aysus, yun na rin yun, pareho naman sila ng ibig sabihin non! (pasalamat ka wala si Klarisse, dahil kung hindi, kanina ka pa binatukan non!) Eshusmee, ako yung bida dito kaya wag na wag mong mababanggit si Klang no! Chos! Pero seryoso, sino kaya yung babaeng yon? Don't tell me sya yung 'destiny' ko ha! No way! Wit ko naman bet na matulad kay Klang na nagkagusto sa merlat no! Prince charming pa rin yung gusto ko. Try ko kayang nakawin kay Klang yung gayuma at maipainom kay Daniel Padilla o Coco Martin, charaught! Wit ko gagawin yun no, di naman ako kasing desperada ng pinsan ko no, at isa pa, mas maganda ko sa kanya kaya di ko na kailangan ng gayu-gayuma na yan. Hay, sana lang talaga makita ko na yung lalaki para sakin. Oh wait, lalaki nga ba? "Sige na Madison gawin mo na para matapos na ang problema mo sa ex mo na stalker" tulak sa akin ng bestfriend kong si Alyana palapit sa popular table, kung saan nakaupo ang hottest guy sa campus na si Blake de Asis. "S-sigurado ka ba dito Aly?" Pinagpapawisan na ako ng malapot lalo na at palapit na palapit na kami kay Blake at sa mga popular friends nya. Tumigil kami sa harap ng table nila "Ahh excuse me Blake" I said, trembling. Huminto sila sa paguusap usap at saka sabay sabay na tumingin sa akin "Yes?" He asked at saka tumayo sa harap ko. Tumingala ako sa kanya. This is it pansit. Pumikit ako at saka tumingkayad ako para halikan sya. Naramdaman kong tumahimik ang buong paligid dahil sa ginawa ko. His lips were so soft and sweet. Nakangiting minulat ko ang mata ko, pero sa halip na si Blake ay ang shocked na mukha ng gorgeous yet bitchy girlfriend nya ni Reese Santillan ang nabungaran ko. Wtf?! Did I..?? Did I just.?? Did I really..?? Nagdilim na ang paningin ko pagkatapos.
