Jungkook has a disorder where he can't feel pain. Since it's a generally unknown disease, and the doctors aren't really qualified, jungkook has been at the mental facility since he was 5 years old. Taehyung is a psychology major and understands the effects of Congenital Insensitivity to pain. He dedicates his career to getting jungkook the proper care he needs.
