As the Battle of Geonosis comes to an end, the gunship carrying Anakin, Obi-wan, and Padme is shot at. We all know what happens: Padme falls, Anakin wants to save her, Obi-wan won't let him. But it's okay because in the movie, Padme is perfectly fine... But this isn't the movie!

This fanfic tells about Anakin and Padmes wedding night and what happens throughout their honey moon.

His hand pressed against the soft, smooth skin of her neck, and under the coolness of his glove she could feel the heat of his palm, moving down towards the metal collar around her neck. She stared at him in confusion. What was he..? He tilted his head to the side, his eyes following the path his hand moulded along her skin. He was almost right there, his blue eyes lit up by the subtle gold undertone shining almost metallically underneath crystalline blue. "Such nice skin, Amidala." He purred, his voice dripping with honey, sounding almost harmless, but she sensed a threat underneath his calm, almost lazy tone. "Skywalker, this isn't the time for-" She stopped short when she saw his eyes, so sharp and icy. Padmé stared at him, her brows drawn down in a confusion. He'd never looked at her like that before, so unfeelingly. And why wasn't he trying to free her? Unease and dread of this unknown territory filled her. A look of sympathy, or perhaps sadistic pity leaked into his eyes, and she felt a sudden drop in her stomach. "You really have no idea, do you?" She didn't even attempt to hide the confused fear that was passing through her. "Allow me to enlighten you." He hissed, and suddenly his grip was around her neck with pressure, gripping her neck from above the collar. It was far to familiar. "I told you never to forget this, and now you'll suffer the consequences for not listening." ~ The galaxy is in shreds, Palpatine is in control of the prospering Empire, AND Padme finds herself under the radar of the galaxy's most feared force, Darth Vader. Twenty-Four year old Padmé Amidala Naberrie is a Nubian Senator of the Galactic Senate, a contesting member against the Empire, and a Rebel spy. So what happens when she meets a dark, brooding, mysterious enigma of a friend who may be hiding a secret? Or perhaps all the secrets on the Empire?

Is it possible to bring a demon from hell? Can he see the light of heaven from his stance in the fire? Does he deserve to see his angel? These are questions Obi-Wan asks himself as he watches the newly reinstated Anakin Skywalker with his unconscious wife and newborn children after his dramatic turn to the darkside. Obi-Wan was able to save Anakin from the darkside on Mustafar the night of order 66, but Anakin was far from forgiven and everyone in the delivery room that night knew it. But after a tragic accadient that couldn't be fixed by the rebellion, Anakin returns home only to see the only person that could still make his broken heart sing. But the angel he left was gone, the children he left were not his. But just because heaven closed it's gates, doesn't mean Anakin won't climb.
