Morgue from the Venice Beach Freak Show swallows swords. His cousin, Maggie, also a sword swallower, has come to visit. She causes some 'accidents' and trouble. Her reason? To get back at Morgue for never playing with her when they were children. When she catches a fellow member's eye, real trouble starts to brew. ------------------------------------------------ All story members are real except Maggie.

This story begins after one of Barnum's spectacular shows. Anne Wheeler and Phillip Carlyle enjoy themselves, life is good. Up until a girl, by the name of Mary Hollister joins the circus, mistreating the oddities and becoming a little too close to handsome Phillip Carlyle.
