Paul, now 17, decides to return to the Hoenn region to capture a Bagon and raise it to be a mighty Salamence. However, he doesn't realize that right after arriving an annoying cretin Coordinator would bump into him right when he's setting off on his new goal. Dawn forcefully worms her way in Paul's plans in her quest to become a better Coordinator and the two struggle to get along. As Paul says, "When one life meets another, something will be born.".... but just what will be born between the two?

Pokémon trainer Sun leaves the Kanto Region to see the world of Alola. There he goes to a Pokémon School which his mother enrolled him in. He then meets a group of Pokémon trainers. Mallow, Hau, Moon and Lillie. Alongside his new friends, they all get their first Pokémon.

Fate brings Ash Ketchum, 16 and Pikachu to reunite once more with Serena. For Ash a new journey in the Alola region has begun as he collects Z-crystals and discovers their powers. Soon a new threat will appear bent on destroying the entire universe. The two will need each other and their Pokemon to save everyone as an dark shadow casts itself over everything. How will they overcome these new challenges down an unforeseen and deadly road? Will Ash ever become a Pokemon Master? What will become of Serena and her feelings towards Ash?
