Imagine if you told your parents something about you, that nobody else knew, that not even you understood... and instead of helping you and trying to understand.. they turned there backs on you, and treated you like garbage. Eventually, they get fed up with your "bullshit" and send you away to get help... at the group home for troubled and abandoned kids. There is when you meet someone- this someone shows you that's there's still good people, even when the world has went cold. This someone protects you, and try's to show you what happiness is... that's exactly what happens to Butters... and this "someone" is Kenny.

Kenny's been getting weird feelings lately. He doesn't understand what it is, but how could he? Not until after such a long time does anyone realize that Mr. One-night-stand himself had subconsciously fallen in love.

Kenny comes back to South Park after leaving and Butters would wish that Kenny would notice the pain his friends are putting him.
