Evan Buckley has a daughter Ivyana Buckley when he is a year and a half into being a SEAL. When Ivy is 3 her mother dies and that is also when Steve McGarrett, Evan's all but blood father, retires and says he'll watch her for Evan. Eventually, Evan joins reserves and still goes on some missions with his team, but is mainly a firefighter with the 118 in LA.
