It's been 16 years since Tom's fateful decision. Tika is in the care of the Rebellion Base with her two favorite, awesome uncles. She grew up not knowing who her real parents are and her uncles were quick to change the topic every time she brought it up. Even the soldiers around the base knew but wouldn't tell her their names. They only spoke well about one of her parents while they seem annoyed with her other one. The only thing she looks forward to is the blue letters that are sent to the base from her mother. She learns a few things about the rest of her family through them, yet they don't give names. Tika knows she had two older brothers who she's been dying to meet too. Tord is a rich and often busy 20 years old guy. His life is very lonely ever since he started working, at least he doesn't have to deal with high school bullies anymore. But he really wants someone by his side, but not one of those girls at his job that continuously flirt with him just of his appearances and money. Tom gets eye cancer and cant see. He works for the red leader. Tord can't have blind soldiers. He has some of medical staff work on creating goggles so tom can see. Tom isn't like the other soldiers Tord knows him personally and even though they don't always get along Tord cares very much about Tom.
