HIGHEST RANK #997 in Romance (23/2/18) Harper Washington is sick of being just Dylan Washington's daughter so instead of following her father's footsteps and going to Yale Harper decides to go to Harvard. Frienemy and Lifelong Crush, BJ Jacobs enters her life and everything is turned upside down. This is Book #3 in the NY Style Series. You don't have to read the books in any order however chronologically this book is after #1 - Lift Guy & #2 - For The Love of Food. *** I stop in the doorway of the kitchen. Crap. BJ. Shirtless. Cooking. BJ or Benjamin Jason Jacobs is Amber and Mark's oldest son. He is mega hot. I mean like Calvin Klein model material. The thing is he has always been mean to me. Horrible. Like a real jerk. Then all of sudden when they visited a few months ago and he realised I had an arse and boobs he wanted to talk to me. Hell no! I promised myself then and there that I will never date BJ Jacobs. "Breakfast?" BJ's voice breaks through my voice. He is holding a plate full of pancakes out to me. "Where are your parents?" "At the restaurant. Breakfast?" "And Lucas?" "Grandma's place. Breakfast?" "What?" "You are slow in the morning." He says with a smirk. "Do. You. Want. Breakfast?" "You can cook?" "My father is a gourmet chef I think it would be a crime if I didn't. And you still didn't answer me."

Meet Lexie McGinty. Unfulfilled Graphic Designer at Bostock Bank and according to her best friend Evie 'proper lovely'. Lexie's loves, particularly snowboarding and Labradors - seem to have been filed away in the drawer marked 'Time to get sensible' Navigating through the murk of London life; career, boyfriend, getting a toe (let alone a foot) on the housing ladder is all proving to be slightly underwhelming. So, when the global recession hits hard and redundancy beckons, she's left without a job for the first time in her life. But, as her wise and wonderful (if a little cantankerous) Grandmother would say, every cloud has a silver lining. At least unemployment means boyfriend Henry might get off her back about buying a house. Lexie wishes she had the same pluck as her best friend Evie, who has a million and one ideas about which direction she should go (none of which involve Henry, incidentally.) Then life throws another curveball that sends her on an adventure she never anticipated. The population of Fraser Mountain has just increased by one. When Lexie finds herself far from home in the frigid winter of the Canadian Rockies, she meets a motley crew of ski-bums, handsome ski-patrollers and friendly locals who live the dream, united by a passion for snow sports and mountain life. With no job, no boyfriend and no real plan, can she really fit in and carve out a new life, and find new love, in Fraser, or should she face up to her responsibilities and get back on the grown up bus? _________ Hello! My name is Alex and I wrote this novel based on my experiences when I upped sticks from London to live in a small ski town in Canada a few years ago. I absolutely loved writing this book and I really hope that those who read some or all of it enjoy the story, maybe giggle a few times, and give me some great feedback - thank you!

College is just like her old life . . . bleak. Surviving it won't be easy, especially when the girlfriend of the guy she's loved her entire life would rather see her dead. So much for that clean slate. Instead she's constantly looking over her shoulder, watching, waiting and worrying. Lucky for Emma she met The Senator's Son. Zach Walker is the typical rich kid . . . or is he? He's all heart, not like all those other guys. She isn't supposed to fall for him. She doesn't even know if she can trust him. He is completely tempting and totally out of her league. Please note - there is profanity and sexual situations. All rights reserved. Ever heard of the story where the football player gets the cheerleader? Or the one where the football player goes for the stereotypical nerd? Aren't those so cliche? But aren't the cliche love stories the best kinds of love stories? I have this theory where if you want a cliche story, you have to become apart of the cliche. Become that cheerleader, become that nerd anything to get the guy. But here's my problem, I can't become that cliche because too much is riding on that line. To make it worse I'm the kicker on his football team. So to him I'm just "one of the guys"
