Lacey Waits has gotten too comfortable appealing to the good natures of the spirits she can communicate with. See, these spirits, they breathe salt on the little sills and doorways to keep the evil out. But when she moves back to Iowa for the spring and a little Jane Doe asks for her help in bringing justice to her gruesome murder - and when Lacey subsequently denies her request - the restless spirits see no reason to stick around, allowing demons and ghouls with lesser-than-holy intentions to wreak havoc. Caught in constant danger, it's up to Lacey to get on the case of Jane Doe's death, rescue a childhood friend from a string of missing persons cases, and regain the good graces of the dead before she joins them at the hand of evil entities and water that just keeps on rising. *Previously featured on the @mystery profile* *Featured on @Paranormal's "Life After Death" reading list* *Featured on @Ghost's "Bustling Ghosts" reading list* *Featured on @crime's "Policing the Paranormal" reading list* *cover by cosettetapes*

Jesabel is a liar. When her only friend mysteriously disappears, she does what comes naturally. She keeps her truth from the world. Without warning, she is thrown into a web of lies far more dangerous and lethal than anything she could imagine. With an annoyingly charming boy by her side, can she unravel what she refuses to tell - the truth? WHITE LIES HAS BEEN REVISED, EDITED AND REWORKED! Happy late new year, friends! I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that White Lies, a story that has been up and running on Wattpad since 2011, has been re-written and revised for the coming decade. What does this mean? This entails the same characters you know and love, with better flow, better writing, more nuanced character development, more mature content, and entirely different plot lines. Jesabel's character has changed drastically since I last introduced her to the world (nearly NINE years ago! yikes!), and I wanted to make this story a more nuanced and modern take. When I had written White Lies, I had been just 14 years old. And I've done a ton of growing, learning, and unlearning over the years. This means that my characters have grown and developed with me. If you are an old friend and re-reader - welcome, and please enjoy the same old story you love with a brand new take! If you have started along this White Lies journey beginning in December and all throughout January, you might have read a half-edited and half-original version of the story. So please feel free to re-read at your leisure! I won't bite, I promise.

WATTY 2019 WINNER Hale, a state of the art android, can do nearly anything a human can. He cooks meals, cleans and organizes the house, repairs broken appliances, and runs errands. He can even provide for the more carnal needs of his owner. None of these tasks should present any challenge for Hale, and they don't-until he meets his next door neighbour, Rayner. Rayner seems like an unassuming gardener, but he asks Hale a lot of questions. Does Hale wish he could smell or taste food? What would he look like if his appearance hadn't been chosen for him? From the moment they meet, Hale runs into errors in otherwise simple tasks. He experiences bizarre sensations that none of his diagnostic tools can explain, and struggles to appease the people in his owner's social circle. As the errors in his programming begin to wear on his owner's patience, Hale faces the most difficult decision yet. If he can't evolve to meet her needs, he'll be returned and recycled into parts for future androids. If he does evolve, is he still just an android? Or something more? In all this, Rayner is the only man who can help him, and Rayner only has one question left for Hale. What does he want? Hale wasn't designed to want anything, but perhaps he can find the answer in the man with all the questions. Along with a brash warrior and a too-perceptive scholar, Constantine begins to unravel secrets of a prophecy foretelling the end of the world. Samuel Brandt woke up with his thoughts written all over his body. His brother woke up with his head missing. His sister woke up to find that her skin would crack open unless she stayed in water. All of the other children in the secluded Iowa town of Oak Knoll woke up having undergone strange transformations. Now, they are all forced to live at 407 West Marshall Street, the mysterious house outside of town. With the new name of The Boy with Words for Skin, Samuel wants nothing more than to hide from his new life. He painfully and unpredictably sheds his skin, there is a Voice in the entryway closet that is often cruel, and-perhaps worst of all for a naturally shy boy-the other children look to him as a leader. As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.

❛WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE THE TEN MOST POWERFUL GODS ALIVE PLAY A GAME OF MUSICAL CHAIRS WITH ONE SEAT?❜ They fight - to the death. They fight over three crowns and a throne with steel spiked maces. They despair a little more everyday keeping their vows. They wander in hospitals to find a cure for their torn hearts. They haunt castles and secret passages. They betray the ones they love the most. They are dying women and miserable men. They make peace with their enemies, not friends. Girls of rivers with hair like the night dance down the moon stairs. Goddesses of flame hold out hands which crumble and burn. This story sings of three rings. Of forgotten maps. Of a queen who should not be alive after all she has suffered. But most importantly, it sings of three gilded crowns studded with the jewels of the heavens. Crowns of glass. ➳ Shortlisted for the Wattys 2018. ➳ Now a featured Wattpad story. ➳ Winner of over fifteen prestigious awards. ➳ Highest rank: #2 in Fantasy. ❛NO ONE TOLD ME THAT BEING A QUEEN WOULD MEAN PAYING THE PRICE OF POWER WITH STEEL AND BLOOD, DARLING.❜ rubyruins | all rights reserved ©

Heroes. Ever since they showed up, people have gone soft. They're adored, worshipped. Devotion is showered upon them like rain. It's about time someone knocks them off that pedestal they stand on, someone to crush their pillars of faith. Someone like me. A villain. It's perfect. I'll be the undoing of heroes. ≠ disclaimer: very much needs to be edited, very much needs to be less corny and very much needs to be entirely rewritten by me. if you approach it as a goofy, corny, old 2015-esque superhero book then it'll be a great time. i'll be honest and say there are no pulitzers here. completed ✓ highest rank in sf: #9 cover: @narwhelly
