Nicole Alice Dawson has never had an easy life. At six years old her mother was beaten to death by her alcoholic father leaving Nicole and twelve year old brother Anthony fearing for their lives. Nicole has never found much to believe in and has always feared for her life. Battling depression, anxiety, self-harm and her alcholic father isn't an easy thing to do. One day, after being beaten the night before by her father, Nicole decides to pack up what little belongings she has and move away. She moves all the way across the country to Orlando, Florida. There she meets Connor McDonough, one part dreamer, one part adventurerer, one park dork, all parts perfect. The boy with ocean eyes shows Nicole that there is more to life than alcohol and abuse. He takes her on an adventure and opens her eyes to new things. Connor McDonough just be exactly what she's been looking for all her life.
