Love has always been rich matter for poetry. . . I admit that I am not much of a romantic: I like to think I'm practical and more prone to musings on science and art than the vagaries of affection.
But I'm poetic by nature, and love is something I've had a little experience with, some good, some bad, all memorable. I write sonnets when I'm in love, and free verse usually when I'm falling out of love, or love is falling out with me, as another poet said. . .
Enjoy!
