PREVIOUSLY TITLED 'BLOOD THRONE' { Wattys 2018 'The Originals' winner } Shadows trail Rhaessa wherever she goes. Whether that's her magic or past, she can't seem to escape them. Wrestled into a corner with only one way out, she embarks on a journey to uncover the truths of her vicious kingdom. Varyn walks a very fine line in the royal courts, finding herself at the mercy of the King's whims, where one wrong move can have terrible consequences. When a string of murders is committed inside the castle walls, the time is ticking for her to put a stop to it before chaos erupts. Two women are forced to uncover the blood, bones, and treachery that built their kingdom and line the throne. The stakes could be their lives or worse. Much, much worse. War? That doesn't quite cover it. TW: violence, implied SA, and mentions of suicide/depression. This story is heavy and has some dark themes. *** Disclaimer: although I made the cover myself, I do not claim to have made any of the beautiful art used on it. If it's yours please dm for credit or removal!***

A picture book journey of my designs and artwork that I constantly work on as I develop arthritis. If you want me to make a graphic, come on in and let me know! Beware when reading, I'm unapologetically foul-mouthed sometimes and I like cracking dad jokes. Nearly all of my covers come with cover tutorials. I'm not shy about helping anyone. So, I was doing a critique tonight. And it was the person’s first book. And I was writing a bunch of the same things that I’ve written on a million other critiques since I started on Wattpad. And, it occurred to me that I keep giving people the same advice—advice that nobody gave me—and advice that beginner writer’s NEED. So I decided to put some of it down in a book, although I’m guessing most people won’t read it. Haha But the title pretty much says it all...

This is where we talk about writing romance. Everyone is welcome! Tips Corner is an interactive learning format rather than teaching. We all love to read or write romance and whether we realise it or not, are experts and have ideas to offer. There are many 'how to' guides on writing romance so rather than provide another one here, we will learn from each other. There are no right and wrong answers and what works for one person mightn't for another. Hopefully our discussions will inspire us write the stories that attract gazillions of readers.
