Book I of the 'To Live Again' Saga In the modern world Clara Riley experiences a life changing event...death! Usually this means the end of living, but this quirky art student gets the shock of her life when she wakes up in Greenwood the Great...when she should be dead...and not in a fictional world? Meanwhile in the Second Age of Arda - an Elven Prince returns from fateful battles horrendously scarred, both inside and out. But not all of Prince Thranduil's scars are battle worn - his heart has long since abandoned any hope of redemption. But not all hope is lost, at least not in the eyes of a young elfling. Legolas is determined to reach his Ada, and he is especially sure his new friend Clara can assist...after all he did pray to the great Illuvatar to send him some help! *AU - new spin on 'girl-falls-into-ME' genre* **Part of the Official Wattpad LOTR fanfic Reading List & Fic Recs** **Part of the Official-Visible Reading List for Wattpad** ***TOP TEN in FANDOM Winner2015*** ***RBLS Popular Choice Winner2016***

THERE IS SOME SMUT, but there will be warnings on any chapters containing sexual content. (Thranduil x OC). Anastasia is an elf who is asked by Gandalf to join a company of dwarves on their quest to reclaim their homeland. Although it seems as though the journey is going well, what will happen when her secret is discovered? (I wrote this a long time ago [3 or 4 years ago] before I even owned a laptop or a phone so I will try to fix as many spelling mistakes as possible. I still love the idea I had and hope my readers do as well) I DON'T OWN THE LOTR UNIVERSE

Mantheniel, who had also been called "flame of the dragon" had spent her life training to become a warrior to protect the people she loved. Haunted by the past -despite her name and reputation, she had a fear of fire; for her city had burned to ash when she was a child. The fire took the lives of all those she loved. She had been found by Lord Ellithoir, the captain of the Kings guard of Rivendell. With Lord Elrond's help, she had found a new home in Rivendell working under the watchful eyes of Elrond and trained with Ellithior. A dark figure haunts her steps. Even as Luimëníssë settles into her husband's mountainous fortress at the Pass of Aglon, the blank spaces in her memory become more frequent. Frightened by these instances and driven by a coming change in their lives, she seeks the counsel of Queen Melian in Doriath where her brother Vantaro protects the ancient woods as a march warden. Luimëníssë is warned the fragile happiness that she and her husband have cultivated can only last for so long. For the Enemy is gaining strength once again. And an ancient oath sworn across the sea will never release Curufin from it's greedy clutches. Not as long as the silmarils exist. All these images are played back in dreams to Ivy McKee who, in the sweltering summer of 1925 in New York City, has agreed to become an informant against her charismatic employer who is in league with the mob. But there is more at stake than her life. The enigmatic Chauffeur warns her that perhaps her very soul is at risk should she get any closer than necessary to Smith. Ivy soon wonders if she is willing to pay that price.
