Sequel to A turtle's self doubt, It's been 3 weeks since Mikey ran away from home with Shinigami to Tokyo Japan, in order to become stronger ninja to proved he has some worth on the team. But Mikey must first overcome his nightmares from his childhood and past. However when a girl named Renet comes to the witch council for help, Mikey with the help of Shinigami,must over come his fear in order to protect her from an evil ninja master. Meanwhile Raph travels alone to Japan to find Mikey. Will Mikey be able to do it or will he let his fears and guilt get in the way form protecting an innocent in need ? Mikey×Shinigami story. After a fail mission, Raph blames Mikey for causing Leo to get hurt and letting the bad guys to get away. This causes Mikey to think he's useless and doubts him self as a ninja. Meanwhile a mysterious witch girl is taking down the foot ' s operations putting innocent civilians in danger in the process but there's more to this girl than meets the eye. While that is happening Mikey finds out Shredder is planning something that will put his Brothers and Sensai in danger. Seeing this as an opportunity to prove himself Mikey will do anything to stop Shredder but at what cost ? Will Raph be able to talk him out of it ? And who's this mysterious girl ? This story is a rewrite of a fanfic I wrote in 1998, popular in the TMNT fandom. I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort were my Tropes to play with. Mikey got hurt a lot. But being psionic helps delay death, you know? Now I get to play with the 2012 reboot from Nick. Despite my skepticism, it really grew on me. Mikey has freckles! And huge bright blue eyes! And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. Warnings for gore, violence, language, descriptions of medical procedures. Hallucinations and creepy nightmares abound. I get very rough with Mikey and his brain.)

This story was on my previous account and some of you I thought would like it so I'm going to repost it on this account. The main character is Mikey and it's very hard for me to write in Mikey's pov because I'm nothing like him so if it's bad I'm sorry. I wrote this last year and I haven't read it.

Mikey has always got made fun of by his brothers. They think he can't do anything right and been telling him that since they all were young. Through the years Mikey has gotten depression but he hides his feelings. Will things get better or will Mikey end all the pain he has went through.

Mikey ran out of the lair after Raph insulted him. He was tired of being the joke so he goes out and get ambushed. When the turtles find him he is left by a thread.
