Freedom, Contract, Eternity, and others carved their marks upon the earth. Each ideal governs a nation, and through that nation, defines the purpose of its Archon. These ideals, in name, are revered, unchallenged in absolute. To embody an ideal is to deny its opposite. And so, balance was asserted. From a land where kings wore madness as crowns and salvation came in the form of a dying swordsmith, a soul unmoored from its nation, its name unbound to Celestia, drifted. Three truths gave shape to the Eighth: Mortality, the first wound. That all men die and in that dying, cherish what moments remain. Impermanence, the second fracture. That no beauty lasts, and so it is beautiful. Will, the final forge. That to rise in futility is the only act worthy of remembrance. Together, they are Transience. The Eighth Ideal teaches not preservation, but perseverance. To walk this path is to accept loss, not escape it. To know pain, not mask it. To live because life is fragile. That which holds still rots. That which endures breaks. That which forgets death dies twice. And so it came to a land held still beneath thunder. A nation strangled in its own heartbeat, ruled by a hollow god clinging to a dream already dead. Where Visions were plucked like wings, and when the lightning that seeks to freeze all things is met by a blade forged to end them, then, and only then, shall the heavens be cut open. A forge-ghost wearing the shape of a man. A man who remembers death. A man who will teach even a god- -that to live forever is not to live at all. The Ideal of Transience does not seek victory. It only seeks to be heard. And when it is- Eternity shall bleed.

As death's chosen vessel, she performed her duty quietly, each soul she touched slipping gently into eternal sleep, leaving her to weep silently. Burdened by countless departures, she withdrew into solitude, relinquishing hope of human warmth-until she encountered a man carrying the Stellaron within him. In each other, they saw reflections: one embraced by death, the other marked by destruction.

Caelus and Castorice are two puzzle pieces-always together, but somehow always missing the right fit. He's a lovable disaster, she's the quiet, shy girl with a secret, and both are completely oblivious to what's going on around them. Everyone else can see the sparks, but these two? They're too busy trying to figure out if a "misunderstanding" is just a misunderstanding or something more. Between spontaneous art club shenanigans, accidental confessions, and a series of wild miscommunications, they're stuck in this ridiculous loop of will-they-won't-they that no one quite understands. Caelus's idea of flirting involves random karaoke sessions and interpretive dance, while Castorice keeps trying (and failing) to hide her feelings behind paintbrushes. Somewhere in the chaos of their daily high school life, with constant hijinks and a bunch of random events that don't make much sense, something shifts. The plot is questionable. The character development is questionable. But one thing's for sure: everyone's waiting for the inevitable disaster that will bring them together. And if anyone can make sense of it... Well, they probably haven't been paying attention either.

It is near graduation for Hachiman Hikigaya, Yukino Yukinoshita, and Yui Yuigahama. As they become young adults, they would need to pursue a career for the workforce. After many failed interview attempts and getting a job, Hachiman is left wandering to his next interview. But a suspicious man persuades him to deliver items to someone for a quick cash. Hachiman's curiosity was overwhelmingly stronger than his will and he decided to check what the box contained. That was when he was let into a dangerously life-threatening situation. Minutes after experiencing what it feels like to have a gun pointed at your head, he is miraculously saved by multiple anonymous people who seemed to be 'experienced' at their jobs. He was inspired by those people who also risked their lives to save others.
