This story takes place right after the walkers invade Beth and Daryl's home at the cemetery. Beth is taken and Daryl will stop at nothing to get her back. Some lines are changed and some of it is written the way I wished it could've went. I know this story is a little late for a Bethyl story, but I decided to write one anyway in honor of Beth Greene. Now forced from the safety of her prison home, Beth makes her way to Terminus but all is not what it seems. Where does the meat come from and why do the residents of the small sanctuary treat her strangely? Is it because of her new close bond with the Terminus leader Gareth or is it so much more? When she is finally reunited with the remainder of her family, how will Beth choose between her old family and her new and where do her true loyalties lie?

Daryl was heart broken. The last few weeks with Beth had meant everything to him, he was almost positive the feelings he had for her were mutual. However like everyone else he had gotten close to, they were gone. Like a candle light being blown out before the darkness had disappeared. Daryl wouldn't defy her when she was here, why start now?. So he follows her orders of letting her be and starting a new quest of finding Rick and the others. Only then will they make their way back to each other.
