As his seven-year-old brother struggles with their new life, as terrifying growls start to come from the pitch black basement, and as his feelings for a girl begin to grow, The Boy with Words for Skin realizes that he wants to change. He wants to put others first, learn from his peers, and let himself hope that things will get better. The Boy with Words for Skin is the first book in the 407 West Marshall Street series. Each book will advance the story but be told from a different character. Book 2 will be The Girl without Eyes.

War. A horrid thing. The races had been in a war with the Demon Clan for as long as history has told. No one knew how the war started. Most blamed the demons and always were ill toward them. Everyone couple of thousands of years a new Demon King must be crowned. Once a new king is crowned the Demon Clan become more powerful. This was a problem for the other races, they knew the time was coming up but they also knew another thing. The way a Demon King was crowned, was when they found their 'mate'. A Demon Prince would have to find their chosen 'mate'. The 'mate' would grow a mark to warn them what was to come, lucky for the other races they already had captured one of the three 'mates' because she was the third princess of the Human Clan. ---- Aizawa considered himself as someone to lacked emotion. Someone who didn't react much; like a black hole, devoid of any feeling. Granted, he felt some fear, like during horror movies that Hizashi, Midnight, and other colleagues subjected him to during movie night, but he was swift to hide it. But now, as "problem child" (as he called him) demonstrated his quirk; Aizawa gets reminded on how infinite possibilities are with powers; and how terrifying they could actually be.
