Despite Zeke’s threats, Dean doesn't tell Cas to leave the bunker. He revels in their burgeoning relationship, content to end his day with Cas asleep on his shoulder, even if they'll always sleep in separate rooms. Cas is it for him. But when Cas begins to experience physical urges he can't control, he asks Dean for a hand—metaphorically, and later, literally. Canon divergent after 9.03 "I'm No Angel."

Haphephobia is a rare but often devastating phobia. It's the fear of being touched. Imagine the second someone touches you without warning you immediately cringe and vigorously rub that area until you can no longer feel it. You just want to roll into a ball and cry. People see you as a psychopath, a freak because you are different. What they don't know is why you have this fear. How it had come on. That was something no one knew, you just wanted to forget. It's not easy and it never has been. How can someone fight a fear they've had for twenty years? You simply can't. Do not read if you're sensitive to the topics of abuse, rape, death, or self harm.

When Castiel’s plans for the summer get cancelled and he’s left with nowhere else to go, Dean invites him to go home with him. It seems an easy solution to cure Castiel’s summer blues, but when they arrive at the Winchester household, Dean realizes due to a slight miscommunication with his mom he and Castiel will have to spend the summer sharing a bed and holding hands because the entire Winchester family thinks they’re dating. And really it shouldn't be that big of a deal because Dean Winchester isn't actually in love with his best friend; except for that he is.

Castiel’s hope for freedom is threatened by a chance encounter with the Crowned Prince of Lawrence, who is trying to avoid an arranged marriage. A Cinderella/Ever After AU. Written for the Dean/Cas Big Bang 2015 with art by kamicom. Fic masterlist with links to art at http://museaway.livejournal.com/1013948.html Caution: This includes references to servitude, because it's based on a movie set in Renaissance-era France. There is on-page corporeal punishment in one scene and reference to past abuse. I think it's melancholy. It's not my usual style; I wrote it in what I hope reads a bit like a fairytale since it's based on one.
