It's not ghost story,it's a love story. A young River Song lives in an orphanage she doesn't have many freinds there, a lot of them there don't like her because they think she is weird. But every night she dreams about the future and she enters from a small box to a big world. Sometimes, she sees a ghost wearing a bow tie and tweed jacket, just for a second then it fades. Right up until she is 16 years of age. Who is this man?, and could this ghost that she later travels with really be her lover in the future ? Could her childhood ghost really come to life?

This Doctor and River Song oneshot is set sometime after the epsiode of the Wedding of River Song, where the Doctor decides to follow human convention and make an honest woman of River and propose to the woman he loves!

River Song thinks she'll be spending her Birthday in prison until her parents, Amy and Rory turn up to take her to a party. River's Birthday with her parents is going to be best one ever, well that's if the Doctor can turn up in time...

River Song has always wanted the chance to know her husband better, but not even River can ever truly know the Doctor, an elusive and impossible man who has lived so many lives across time and space...But maybe the TARDIS has other ideas. So lets put aside love crossed time lines and paradoxes. This is what happens when River Song meets every single incarnation of the Doctor. "....When I look at the Doctor, I see my Doctor, that skinny bow tie, fez wearing, impossible, mad man with a box, the kindest and daftest person, who with a sudden "nose bopping" smile can make me go all fluttery and weak at the knees...But I know he can be cruel sometimes, I have felt his wrath, a lonely God who does not like endings. And then there are times when I think I have only scratched the surface that I have never really known the Doctor at all when I remember his many lives that have gone before. The Doctor is a legend, a reluctant hero to so many but also a feared tyrant to others, I sometimes wonder if he ever envisaged his life turning out like this when he ran away from his people all those years ago? But I don't delve too far back into his past, I'm the Doctor's wife, not his biographer...."

She later finds herself joining the fight against occupation on an alien world.  This is the first episode of a 16 episode Doctor Who fanfiction series called "Doctor Who: Time's Melody." Amy and Rory are alive. They've met Clara, the Impossible Girl. Time is out of whack and the Doctors have to fix it. They pick up old companions and meet new people along the way. River joins them too. The whole bunch tries going to different places, but River's journal gets in the way. Whenever she opens it, they get transported to that exact moment in her book. But somethings that happen cannot be fixed.

Just when the (Eleventh) Doctor thought his life was hard enough, a woman drops a child on the TARDIS's steps. Not any child; his. Now he must take care of this child while at the same time trying to mind the mother.
