Teresa Agnes is a sophomore at WICKED high. She just wants a normal year with her friends and no distractions. Her plan then gets destroyed by a transfer student, Thomas Murphy, who is a class clown. He then decides that he is going to annoy the one person that wants nothing to do with him. She starts to feel herself fall in love but pushes it away numerous times. If Teresa survived....... Teresa's POV: I saw the roof falling. Thomas was under it. I love him. Love. Even if I risked my life to save his, it was worth it. Many people love him. More than I'll ever have. I pushed Thomas out of the way, and the roof broke. I felt someone tug on me and we fell. I saw Thomas. I loved him, and maybe he loved me back.

❝"Everything is going to change."I whispered softly, almost unable to keep my eyelids open as my body was drifting off to sleep."Everything is going to change." I repeated. And for once, I truly believed it was for something good.❞ When 16 years-old Teresa moves to a new town with her father and her little sister, she hopes to find a happier life there, even after her mother's death, leaving her lonely past behind. But from the moment she steps inside her new school and meets a quiet-seeming girl that goes by the name Harriet, Teresa could never imagine what sort of life she was getting herself into, a life where she gets to know the happiness she never had, but also the sadness she wished she'd never see again. A life where she gets to know parts of herself she didn't know existed.

Thomas, Teresa, and Brenda are best friends. Teresa has always thought of Thomas as something more, but she's too scared to find out if he feels the same. She doesn't know if things will change for the better, or for worse. Brenda thinks she's in love with Thomas, so she asks for Teresa's help to get her man. Teresa becomes jealous, but still supports her friends. "Do they still support me," she always asks herself.
