Tora Tora and his Bump Squad have taken over Gotham. The Exodus Has Begun but Rozanda Cole a comic strip artist for the Gotham Gazette is completely unaware as she loses herself in her own created reality. Fantasy Never Hurt Nobody... or at least she thinks. Super Duper short story my homage to the magnificent NPG funk opus Exodus. Inspired by literally one of my favorite people on the planet and the Batman album. Peace and Be Wild❤❤❤

For twenty four year old rockstar Prince, nothing is off limits, especially not a beautiful little number named Zion Ramsey. After somewhat of a hiatus, her career is once again blasting off into the stratosphere, becoming the biggest star of the silver screen that their generation has ever seen. Everyone wants a piece of her, and so does he. Riding high off the success of his 1999 album, the musician pursues the beautiful actress in ways she dared to dream of, sending the couple into a whirlwind of a "situationship" spanning over a plethora of years with a series of exhilarating highs and turbulent lows. Love is the ultimate goal for the two, but will it be enough? *The use of photos or gifs do not belong to the writer unless noted otherwise. *Please remember that this is fiction. "A tale of obsession through the eyes of a fanatic." Every tomorrow is a bold question mark for the motherless child Ivy Valentine. But one constant in her life that always offered smiles and hope was purple music. So one day, she decides to write a thank you letter to her favorite musician Prince. Figuring the reclusive artist doesn't have time to respond to fan mail, or even read it, she doesn't set her expectations high. But one morning when something does show up from Paisley Park, her life's roadmap takes new direction. Consumed by the idea of meeting him, she eventually starts tending to a journal as she waits to clash with fate once again. But it's after a few years of harsh patience that Ivy finally finds herself in a new job role right behind the walls of Prince's inner sanctum--Paisley Park. Despite Paisley Park management's "don't be a fan" rule, Ivy will do anything she can to fulfill her destiny, because Prince doesn't know it yet, but he and Ivy are soulmates--at least that's what the stars in her universe read.

Something had to have happened between the events in Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge. Not only does the Kid seem like a different musician, but a different person. He went from on the verge of success to nothing and I wanted to explore some of those changes in his life. The Kid stumbles on a notebook tossed aside in a puddle. Picking it up he can't put down the prose, artwork and diary entries of an unknown girl. He wants to learn more about this mystery woman he has only known through her journal writing. He finds himself at a crossroads and is in search of guidance and distraction, could she be the one to help him? Please know that this is the Kid, not Prince, though I did borrow from events in Prince's life, they are not linear or under certain timelines. AU of course, but most references will be built from what we know about the Kid in Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge. Inspired in part by the 2 month love affair between Gertrude and Dexter. Shout out to Ingrid Chavez! Each chapter has poetry at the end, credited to that poet.
