Shay is a fifteen-year-old girl. Not your average fifteen-year-old, though. Shay feels hurt by her past. She's angry at her mum for leaving her when she was just a toddler, and although she knows it's wrong, she wants to pay her back. When Shay's father sends her away to live with her mum, who she hasn't seen for years, Shay feels betrayed, lost and broken. She feels as though no one truly loves or wants her. All she wants is to be found.
